The Intergenerational Landed Learning Project provides opportunities for educators and researchers to engage first-hand with the pedagogy and curriculum of learning with and caring for the earth. Landed Learning offers practicum experiences and professional development for pre-service and in-service educators. Through these experiences, teachers have explored themes such as place-based learning and social and emotional learning and gain confidence engaging children in hands-on, interdisciplinary learning in gardens. MA and PhD students investigate the rich and meaningful learning that takes place in outdoor, intergenerational settings. University courses observe, inquiry, and develop curriculum for our programs.
We invite you to get involved! Share your experiences with Landed Learning and hear from those who have been impacted by the Project here.
