On September 11, 42 international delegates joined the Cultivating Learning Network at the UBC Farm and UBC Orchard Garden for the World Environmental Education Congress (WEEC). The Intergenerational Landed Learning Project and UBC Orchard Garden cohosted a community outreach workshop, engaging environmental educators in learning from and caring for the land here on Musqueam, Tsleil-Wautut, and Squamish territory. Participants got to connect with the native forest ecosystem, collaborate in garden-based learning, and harvest and prepare their own delicious seasonal salads for lunch!
